Calliope Center Stage: The Honey Dewdrops

Winners of the 2008 talent show broadcast of NPR’s A Prairie Home Companion, The Honey Dewdrops write and sing in the veins of folk, old country music, and bluegrass. The duo entwines harmony singing with tight instrumentation and craft songs that are simple and fine-tuned. Theirs are new songs from the southern mountains that ring with originality.

This show is ALL AGES and is held at Calliope's newly renovated space at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. The space features a welcoming, club-like atmosphere and quality acoustic treatments. Soda, wine and beer will be available for purchase.
